Citation:
TNA literally will not stop bringing in everyone they possibly can. Last night, we saw the debut of many former WWE stars, including Jeff Hardy, Ric Flair, Orlando Jordan, Val Venis, and of course, Hulk Hogan.

Hogan mentioned there is not a name they won't go after, as they have gone after everyone from Tyler Black in ROH, to The Rock and Steve Austin. But, they haven't signed either of those three yet.

One name that has come out is Joey Mercury. He is currently in Orlando taking a physical, if he passes then he will become yet another member of the TNA roster. He could debut as early as tonight at the iMPACT tapings, he probably won't wrestle though.

Now, it is said that this physical is the key to everything for Mercury, who will most likely go under a new ring name. He reportedly has bad knees, and if they are still not doing great, TNA won't hire him.

It is said that if Mercury is signed, then John Morrison may be on tap to come to TNA according to an inside source of mine. Morrison has given his notice to the WWE that he will give them up to four weeks before his WWE contract ends to give him a World Title.

If the WWE does not give him one, he will leave. Also, Morrison is the first 21st Century wrestler to have a no-compete clause attached to his contract.

If you remember, Rick Rude left the WWE after appearing for the last time on RAW, then went to WCW and appeared on Nitro on the same night, making him the first to ever accomplish the feat.

Since then, every wrestler in the WWE has had a no-compete clause of some sort attached to their deal to prevent it from happening again. Morrison is the first not to have it since then, which is shocking to me.

Realistically, he could be on SmackDown one week, then appear on iMPACT the following week. His WWE contract ends at some point in the Spring, around May I believe.

Word going around backstage is that the WWE wants to either have Morrison win the Royal Rumble coming up at the end of this month, or have him win the Money in the Bank match at Wrestlemania 26. He would probably cash the briefcase in that night on one of the World Champions.

Word is that Sheamus could be the guy he takes out to win the title, as it is said that the Irish Assassin will be holding the WWE Title at least until Wrestlemania, or longer.

If Morrison wins MITB, then he will go after Sheamus, if he wins the Rumble, he'll most likely take on Batista at Wrestlemania, since he is said to be the World Heavyweight Champion by then.

In any case, my source believes that if Mercury is signed by TNA, it's a lock to see Morrison in the iMPACT Zone if he doesn't win a World Title before his WWE deal ends. At this point, Morrison has yet to discuss renewing his WWE deal.

The whole thing really hinges on Mercury passing his physical tonight. I'll let you know if there are any updates regarding the physical on the article, so come back periodically tonight and tomorrow to see.

I'm still hearing that even if Mercury doesn't get signed, Morrison may still leave the WWE if he doesn't win a World Title before his deal ends.

If you ask me, the WWE can't afford to lose him, as he could be their future. Still though, shouldn't you be treating someone who is said to be your future right?

Morrison has yet to get in a main event storyline on SmackDown, I can see his frustration with the WWE.

Pour ceux qui doutent de la crédibilité de ce site...

C'est bel et bien The Bleacher Report qui a annoncé, en primeur lundi dernier (avant "Impact"), la signature de Jeff Hardy et de Shannon Moore avec la TNA.
